The latest breaking news is the outbreak of bird flu in and around India as a result the prices of chicken are also going through a half drop as the demand and supply graph has been effected there is not much demand for chickens in India after this news has been doing the rounds all over. Going more specific one can say that the cases of bird flu have been reported from Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana, and Kerala. As we know the bird flu mostly spreads through the birds and mainly through the poultry birds. Getting figure specific regarding the death of the birds one can say that till now the number of poultry birds that have died is 1 Lakh plus. In Kerala, the ducks came in the effect of the virus in Rajasthan the crows and in Himachal Pradesh there were geese.

It is a contagious disease that happens through influenza type “A” viruses, these viruses are mostly seen effective on the birds such as chickens and Turkeys. The indications of this virus can be mild as well as they can be highly dangerous. The mild indications of the flue would include less egg production from the chickens.

But here in the case of bird flu that is not the case as we do have vaccinations available for the treatment of the disease. The vaccine has been given approval by the FDA in the USA in 2007.
But still, even when there is vaccinations available for this the people still need to be very careful regarding them; after all, it is a disease and would only lead to unnecessary complications in the body of the people.
Precautions to be taken:
There are misconceptions doing rounds that one should not be eating non-vegetarian dishes or mainly chicken and eggs for avoiding bird flu but it is all just about being careful if one would be careful while cooking the piece of meat then there would be zero chances of the person catching bird flu. One only needs to take care of the hygiene while cooking the meat also one should see to it that it gets cooked properly heating it properly would automatically get the viruses killed also to be on the safer side one can opt for eating dishes like roasted chicken. Other than this further the union health ministry has advised the poultry farm workers to use PPE kits and also they have advised them to follow hand hygiene one can say that they should be washing their hands on a regular basis. Also, the poultry farm owners and workers all around the globe can get their birds vaccinated for their prevention from bird flu.
Other than that also one more thing that is noticeable is that India so far has never detected any cases of bird flu viruses in humans. In India, the viruses of this infection have always been limited to the birds only. The country is already fighting against one deadly virus that is Corona and if there would be another spread like bird flu on serious levels then the country would not be able to deal with two serious health issues simultaneously as the health and medical structure of the country is not that much strong so it is better for everyone to always remember the words “prevention is better than cure” and also prevention is the best way for fighting against any sort of disease anytime.
