As per the new update on the ongoing Kisan Andolan, there have been more than 25 FIR’s filed against all the 37 farmer leaders. The FIR or the first information report has been filed against all the violence that came up during the farmer’s tractor rally on Republic Day.
If the latest reports are to be believed the main names that have been registered in those FIRS’s are of the Punjabi actor Deep Sidhu and also there is the name of the gangster activist Lakha Sidhana. After, FIR against Deep Sidhu in Red Fort case there is also a notice that has been issued to the leader of the Farmers Darshan Pal in the notice Delhi Police has been asking the leader to give his call over why there should not be any legal action taken against him.
The main accused whose names have come up against the violent actions that were conducted at the RED fort are of the activist “Lakha Sidhana” other than this there are many other few names that have been dragged in the FIR’s are of some more Sikh Scholars such as Sukhpreet Udhoke, Singer Bir Singh, and also Baba Raja Singh.
Other than this there is also a different case of Kisan’s Andolan that has come to light that is of Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh committee coming from its leader Sarwan Singh Pander. The leader has announced that they will not be following the tractor rally routes that have been decided by the police and therefore, he insisted on taking the rally to the Delhi outer ring road.
Getting more into the details of what was the exact matter it is said that the Punjabi actor hoisted Nishan Sahib at Red Fort. But if one has to believe what is said by the leader of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh committee then he was recorded saying that whatever happened at the RED Fort Is not in any way connected to his organization.
On the other hand, the unions are accusing Sidhu, of a “BJP agent” there were various pictures doing rounds in the media those pictures were seen proving the involvement of the actor in the elections that were contested by the BJP MP Sunny Deol from Gurudaspur also he had his pictures circulating in the media with the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. On the other hand, a video has also come to light where the farmers are seen chasing away the actor.
If the actor’s words are to be believed then he admitted that he was there present at the Red Fort during the hosting of “Nishan Sahib” but further he also said that it was just a symbolic act and was not at all done to show disrespect towards the National Flag of India.
Talking regarding the reasons behind the Punjabi actor being so much involved in all, this ruckus one can say that the whole Punjabi film and music fraternity strongly opposed the new farm laws that have been given by the Modi government. Another reason can also be taken as the independent positions that have been by him irrespective of the stands taken by the farmer’s union.
Sidhu has been noted saying “the aim of the protests shouldn’t be to gain concessions, it should be to change the entire power equation.” Along with him, Sukhpreet Udhoke has also taken similar positions.
Though when the dealings and the negotiations started between the government and the farmers at that point, of time the focus of the whole situation came on the unions. The other prominent personalities like Sidhu were then sidelined.
The unions have been coordinating the protests also they have been managing the sites and also they have been dealing with the government but also it is clear that there are some elements also that cannot be controlled by the unions. Also, one needs to take into consideration that, it is the Punjabi film and music industry that has helped the protest in getting the youth mobilized other than that the youth earlier was not at all connected with the youth.

People were not able to deal with the ongoing situations and problems. But as we move to the conclusion all that can be said is that the demands coming from the farmers should be kept in front of the government in the most peaceful manner the harmony, peace, and unity of the country is not something that can be put to sacrifice for anything. The safety and security of the nation and the people living in the country should not be sacrificed even for a minute in any situation.
The biggest slogan in India is considered” Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan” also it is in India only that the farmers are denoted with a respectful word like “anna data.” So, ultimately it is in the hands of the Kisan’s themselves to keep their respect and also the dignity protected while they are coming forward with their issues or demands.
